Account Deletion Policy

Deleting Your Sorom Account

We understand that sometimes you may no longer need your Sorom account. This page outlines the process for deleting your account and the data associated with it.

What happens when you delete your account?
  • Your profile and public activity will be permanently deleted: This includes your profile picture, bio, past trips, reviews, and ratings.
  • Your personal data will be removed from our systems: This includes your name, email address, phone number, and any other information you provided when creating your account.
  • Any bookings you have made will be cancelled: We recommend contacting any service providers directly to confirm and discuss any refunds or penalties.
  • You will no longer be able to access Sorom features or benefits: This includes using the app to browse trips, connect with other travelers, or access exclusive deals.

Important notes
  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your data.
  • We may retain certain data for legal or compliance reasons. This data will be anonymized and not associated with your individual account.
  • If you have any questions or concerns about deleting your account, please contact us at support@sorom.co .

How to delete your account
  1. Sign in to your Sorom account.
  2. Go to your profile settings.
  3. Select 'Delete Account'.
  4. Read the confirmation message and confirm your deletion request.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

Additional options
  • Before deleting your account, you may want to download your data. You can do this by exporting your past trips and reviews.
  • If you only want to deactivate your account temporarily, you can choose to 'Deactivate Account' instead of deleting it permanently. This will prevent others from seeing your profile, but you can still reactivate your account later if you wish.

We hope this policy is helpful and informative. We value your privacy and want to make sure you understand how your data is handled when you use Sorom.
